My company can't afford to give bonuses this year so we want to offer extra vacation time. Is there any best practices out there for converting forgone bonus $$ to paid vaca days?
I've not heard of this before and it could be dangerous. Instead of tying it to bonuses not paid, just offer the team a new spiff for meeting some near term objective that could equate to additional time off.
